New Year...
...new blog!!
Once upon a time there was a paperdolly she was a happy vintage homemaker spending her days keeping house, sewing and baking or battling through windy car boot sales treasure seeking...then one day she chanced upon an lonely abandoned shop and she wondered....she dreamed and she did her sums....
...well that was almost three years ago and here I am again still a vintage homemaker, still sewing and baking....as for the treasure seeking well that is now officially part of my job...after just six weeks of loving care from me and my dedicated family the abandoned shop became something wonderful...it became the shop of my dreams, it became Fine and Dandy
We opened our doors at 2pm on Sunday 18th April 2010 and have been a whirlwind ever since...making a pretty shop, finding vintage treasures, selling things you love, meeting lovely people are the very best parts of having your own business and the easiest parts too...the worst bits are the paperwork, the maths and time...there is never enough!! For the latter part of 2012 we worked on getting our own home in order, some much needed DIY and organisation and now that is done I feel ready to move the shop forward...the first step being to set up this blog.
So heres to 2013 whatever it has in store for us all....watch this space!
